COVID-19 Home Visit Safety Optimisation

The project aimed to ensure that staff involved in Mater Home Visit services were as safe undertaking their roles as those working at a facility. A series of protocols were developed to ensure that staff were not at more risk and could be assured that they were potentially exposing their families and patients in the changing environment post-COVID.

Through a series of process testing simulations risks were identified and procedures were amended to address any gaps, to improve the safety of patients and staff.
