Showcase 2020

Hindsight is 2020

How we're learning from the past to shape our future.

Clinical Excellence Showcase has become a ‘must-attend’ event for healthcare workers who share a passion for healthcare improvement and creating solutions for better healthcare and 2020 was no different.

We were delighted to be joined by interstate, primary care and private sector colleagues as we continue to work collaboratively with them in breaking down the barriers to innovation and improving patient outcomes everywhere.

The event followed the same format delegates have come to love, including the famous Great Debate and Where are they now? segments.

This year also featured an exclusive Women in Healthcare segment to celebrate Women’s Week. Our two presenters for this segment, Nakia Beaton and Leanne Stone, presented projects that were at the cutting edge of personalised medicine as well as patient reported experiences.

With COVID-19 on Queensland’s doorstep at the time of our 2020 event, little did we know how much sharing healthcare innovations, unleashing our potential and involving consumers more in their care would become the foundations for how Queensland would respond to the pandemic.

Our presenters are the clinicians and administrators at the coalface who have successfully navigated healthcare system challenges to deliver change, improvement and innovation in their own health service.
