Meeting dates: 3-4 November 2016
When the Senate first met to discuss integrated care in October 2015 Primary Health Networks and Hospital and Health Services were challenged to come back in 12 months' time and provide an update on shared governance structures and objectives that would provide a good environment for effective delivery of integrated care. We set this challenge because we recognise the importance of integrated care for a sustainable health system.
The Senate reconvened in November 2016 for its second integrated care meeting. In addition to showcasing success stories, members and guests worked on identifying systematic changes required to make sure integrated care becomes ingrained in everything we do, in every decision that is made.
