Meeting dates: 9–10 May 2019
It is critical that our workforce is well - physically and mentally - so that we can enjoy our work and lives, and provide the best possible care to our patients. Clinician wellbeing and patient outcomes are inextricably linked.
The Queensland Clinical Senate’s 'Health and wellbeing of the workforce’ meeting gave more than 130 clinicians, consumers and health executives the opportunity to focus solely on the topic, without distraction.
Delegates contributed to a statement of principles about clinician wellbeing. The statement identifies strategies that can be implemented over the short, medium and long term as well as at the individual, team and organisational level.

Ms Liz Crowe is an Advanced Clinician Social Worker and sought-after communicator, educator and internationally-recognised public speaker.
